due to lack of things worth posting and lack of good bands and songs to update on my playlist, i'm going to leave this blog dead. i may come back to update it when i feel like it. not gonna delete it though.

just fyi, i don't mean every single thing in the lyrics of the songs that i listen to. nobody does.

note to self : DO NOT GAME AFTER 12 MIDNIGHT... -.- really love my lack of self control. sidenote: i would have been in bed by 3-4 had i not gamed. felt a bit tired at around 3am. just to make it clear, i'm blaming myself, not anyone else.

Alone and lonely boy,
When will you ever socialise,
Stop being a nerd.

A simple haiku i made.

You Are Blue

You are a philosophical and often inspired person. You are the master of ideas.

You are open to many points of view. You believe that it's important to communicate and not judge.

You have a worldly perspective, and you're always looking to broaden it.

You are a true people person, but you also value your solitude and personal space.

What Primary Color Are You?

oddly enough i perfer red.
As school looms closer and closer, the temptation to do an all nighter increases.

just worried that if i get this special attention 24/7 i might actually become some sort of self-important jerk rather than being kind and considerate. you guys might be aware of this though already. that and i won't be able to adjust my sleeping schedule to that of singapore.

74 words

Typingtest

took this test again. not much of an improvement but still good enough considering 1 word per second is extreamly fast.

Hm... okay, here to do a post about the taiwan holiday that I'm having right now. Sorry if it isn't very detailed, its been a while since I did one of these day by day posts. This might be a bit too lengthy a.k.a wall of text so please bear with me here. By the way, sorry for the delay. :( *cracks knuckles* ok. get ready for a 100 page story. :O

yea so woke up on last last friday to go hop onto the plane at about 9 plus. finished repacking my stuff which almost everything was books. waited for a while for the strech limo taxi thing. reached at airport and walked around. we went to a mini bookstore place to get my book, "Final Theory". went to this ice cream galato place to get a vanilla ice cream to eat my favourite flavour of ice-cream :D then basicially waited at the airport.... erm... gate at which where our plane had docked? at. boarded the plane yadda yadda yadda. tried to watch bolt on the plane but honestly, erm... i didn't find it interesting. :O no offence. watched spy kids and slept for like 2 hours on the plane.

after we landed, we got our luagge then found our driver. my eagle eyes spotted the driver holding up the card which read "mrs tan". then took an hour long drive to my father's apartment. waited for him to come back with the key then went out for dinner at shabu shabu, chinese version of a japanese resurant. we basicially had to order loads of food to eat then boil it in a pot of water, buffet style.

erm... the next few day's trips i can't really recall. so i'll just skip to one where i can remember the actual details :P

so basicially we hired a taxi driver for the whole day for about $500 singapore dollars. expensive right? but the taxi was comfortable so it was worth it anyway. yea so we went to this erm.... buddist temple. was kinda boring actually, nothing to do except look at huge statues of dudes with four heads weilding a vary of items such as a sword, a banjo? and erm... a structure of some sort if memory serves. told you my memory was shacky. anyway, we hopped back into the taxi and went to a wine facotry i think. i read final theory for a while and looked around at the stalls around there which sold ice cream and chicken legs. at least it looked like chicken legs from the picture :O

after that we went to a lake. basicially we just walked down on the little path there made out of wood. kinda like a bridge. we enjoyed the fresh air and the crickets's kinda annoying sounds. wasn't that bad actually. hopped back into the taxi and went to eat lunch at macdonald, a.k.a mai dang lao in chinese. had a double cheese burger meal with sprite. btw, the order might not be excatly correct :P

er then we went back to taiwan or wherever the place my father's apartment is. take note that the trips took quite a lot of time( 1 hour driving from the apartment to the first destination). anyway, we ate at a artichect's resuartant according to my dad. pretty uniquely designed. it was designed like a cave thing and it even had a little pool thing at the bottom. the food was pretty cultural as in chinese taiwan food. i wasn't used to the food there so i didn't eat much. the soup was good though :)

after that we went to this night market place. a woman's place (sterotyping ftw!!) to shop at, nothing interesting for us guys. the guys (2 bros+me+dad) and girls (sister+mom+grandmother) split up for obvious reasons. we basicially strolled around and glanced around the shops. bought nothing though. at about 9-10+ we met up at mai dan lao for the driver to pick us up. so then we went back home.

the rest of the days basicially consisted of staying at home spamming computer like addicts, going out to eat meals and going out to this other night market. nothing interesting there though.

k, probably going to fourm/watch eyeshield. and on a last note, <3 When I'm with you-Faber Drive! :D

Friday, June 5, 2009

in taiwan right now posting :) kinda boring even though i brought my laptop along since SF ip blocked players from taiwan. -.- and yea, we are staying at my father's apartment where he installed a wireless network for us to use so thats how im getting internet right now.

btw, my headphone just broke. one side cant hear while the other can. apparently its less than a year old so the life span of it is pretty short. -.- now i have to listen to songs without my nice headphones and probably have to play SF without them for a while when i get back to singapore. will probably make me feel deaf and thus, make my performance in it degrade. D:

bah, i guess im going to fourm a bit before going to read a book that i bought back in changi airport called Final Theory. ciaos.

btw, im trying to google left 4 dead online but all i can find is some lame demo. gah!!! going to be so bored at taiwan without any games to play since we are probably going to be home for like 60, maybe 70% of the time here. i brought books to read and to study but i doubt that would occupy my time much. -.- nvm... just found a site with the required specs and apparently i need to upgrade my video card. damn the lame intel graphics media accelator 950!!(geek mode activated)
going off to taiwan for the next 3 weeks or so. hopefully it will be more exciting then what im anticipating right now. :)

i knew i had a time limit to push up my grades. if i did not see an improvement in my grades in the mid years, i would revert back to my old heck care self. what i did not figure out was that the knowledge of that would put extra stress on me to improve and thus, led to the most epic deprovement of my grades ever. great going colin.
ignoring verbel bullies is the best way to avoid conflict with them <3

whoo hoo!! finally a majour in SF :)

lack of stress makes anyone argumentative, especially when they play violent games.

it really is true. my pride is the number one thing i treasure.
